From Clinician to CEO — A Journey Built on Proof, Not Theory.
I didn't set out to become a business consultant. I set out to help people hear better.
After earning my Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado, I opened my own private practice with a vision — build something meaningful, help my patients, and create a life I loved. What I didn't expect was how quickly the business side of running a practice would threaten to consume everything I had built.
For the first few years, I was the hardest working person in the building. I was the first one in, the last one out, and somehow still the person every question, every problem, and every decision landed on. Sound familiar?
The turning point came when I stopped treating my practice like a clinical operation and started treating it like the business it actually was. I restructured my pricing. I built systems my team could follow without me. I created accountability frameworks that actually worked. And over the next nine years, my practice achieved a 33% average annual growth rate — not by working more hours, but by working smarter.
Today I work exclusively with audiology practice owners who are ready to make the same transition I did — from constantly working clinician to strategic, empowered CEO. I know this niche because I lived it. Every recommendation I make is grounded in real-world experience, not textbook theory.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me spending time with my husband, adult children, and their families — traveling, paddleboarding smaller lakes in Tennessee, chasing waterfalls across the state, and boating and fishing Kentucky Lake. I'm based in Erin, TN, just outside Nashville, and work with practice owners across the country.
